Anna summed up our day during our departure from Ice Fest 2013 when she said "This was the best day ever!"

some people have a bone in their head
Today the girls begin swimming lessons through a park and recreation program. It was supposed to begin last week and as Anna's expression above indicates; we were not too pleased to find out that it was cancelled on account of a high school swim meet taking place instead. Which brings me to a common phrase that has come about in our family lately that some people must have a bone in their head. The literal interpretation derived from my cursing "You Bonehead!" while coming across inattentive drivers on our travels around town.

this hill is ours
This morning we went over to the Theodore Wirth house where Anna and Sophia rode down the big hill solo for the first time and they thought it was "the best!" both remarking "OMG" on several occasions.
