 The girls have been learning all about Mesopotamia in school lately and while the Midtown Global Market is not exactly a Ziggurat we still feel that it is a pretty important place where all cultures and some really fantastic foods can be found (especially the gyros at Holy Land).  

 ....and the girls felt it necessary to spend 75 cents of their allowance on big pink cookies.

 Today was the annual Twins parade at the ballpark and as always the girls had a blast. We did not stick around for the whole game, but we did have some great seats and junk food.

Today we went to the retirement party of Dr. Nagel at Como park. 

He is a legendary doctor around these parts for his work in the reproductive field. 

The girls are a long way from understanding how they came to be but they have been asking some very pointed questions lately. Questions like "Who was the first person?" & "Did we come from nothing?" Our answers have been mostly insufficient.
