#hashtag holidays

 Hashtags have taken hold this holiday season. I don't know why or how the girls come across this stuff. I recently came across an online article with the most popular viral videos of the year and I asked the girls if they wanted to watch them. Not only had they seen them, they were describing them in great detail to me.

This morning was the second appearance in the Santa Lucia pageant for Sophia and Anna.  

 It was a wonderful program and everyone enjoyed it very much.

 We also celebrated Lisa's fortieth birthday this weekend with a monster twelve hour party which included a concert with our friends band performing, not to mention a lovely dinner down the road at the new Harriet's Inn.

Like so many weekends we have, it was perfect in every way.

revolution no. 9

 There is no revolution, only evolution and over the last week we had two little girls who have evolved into nine year olds.

 Last week we took a little cruise in the bahamas aboard the Disney Magic cruise ship.

 Our first stop was on the island of Castaway Cay.

 Aboard the ship we had many activities and fun.

 Costume night with Grandma and Grandpa: Grandma was spaghetti and meatballs, Grandpa was a ceiling fan! 

Anna was a witch and Sophia was a mouse!

 To say we have been a bit busy the last couple months would be a vast understatement.

 Between Saint's games...

 painting projects... 

 miniature golf...

 big slides...

 and prizes won...

 We have had little time to kick back and relax.

 Actually, it is the exact opposite! 

 We've been living the good life lately...

life is good.

Our cousin Myra came out for a visit from California and one of the places we took her to was Hot Sam's Antique Theme Park. 
It was a bizarre place but we all had a lot of fun.
